I always have. I like short, to the point quotes and clever turns of phrase.
And two quotes I just read seem to hold some special meaning for me; “Tough Times Don’t Last, But Tough People Do” and “It doesn’t matter how fast you go, just don’t stop”.
With fall just around the corner you almost have to get more optimistic. Yes, the price of milk is on the rise, the economy isn’t perking up as fast as any of us want it to. But tough times don’t last, tough people do. We’re all doing more with less, and we’re downsizing, and we’re being more frugal. But I truly believe we are coming out on the other end of this smarter, leaner and with a deeper understanding of our households and our businesses.
It doesn’t matter how slow you go, just don’t stop. I have added several new customers in the past month. Client’s with businesses that had dwindled away to almost nothing. No new work and no payroll for many months. But they are seeing the work come back slowly and they are gearing up for the coming changes. Here’s to perseverance.
